In the early years of his hairstyling profession, Sacco Schools Ltd. founder and entrepreneur Angelo & Mary Sacco recognized the need for a new kind of hairstyling school -- one emphasizing practical, "hands-on" training, taught by genuinely experienced and professional instructors. In 1979, Angelo & Mary realized their dream, with the opening of Art & Technique Academy of Hairstyling in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
The phenomenal success of the Art & Technique Academy of Hairstyling Oshawa location was the incentive to expand services into other communities. Today Art & Technique boasts 4 campuses in locations across Southern Ontario.
In 1998, in response to rapid growth in the skin and beauty industry, the Sacco family launched a bold and timely initiative; the development of a complete, on-site esthetics school.
Art & Technique Academy of Hairstyling and Esthetics is Registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
Since its inception, Art & Technique Academy has stayed true to its mantra: qualified instructors, advanced modern curriculum, using state-of-the-art equipment, but most of all hands-on training and valuable experience. Art & Technique ensures the highest degree of professionalism and post-secondary standards.
